I usually spend my Saturdays walking around the city with Jason and Muffin - exploring different areas, drinking hot tea or coffee from a local coffee shop, eating a delicious dessert and just enjoying life. By far, the biggest benefit of living in New York is people watching. It's diversity is what separates it from any other city in the world.
On this given Saturday, we stopped at Le Pain Quotidian for a quick bite consisting of quinoa salad and avocado toast. Le Pain Quotidian has good food, is always lively and offers a variety of healthy choices in their menu. I can eat in or just grab something to go.
After, we went to the Italian supermarket Eataly to see if there was anything appetizing (there always is). Like I'm sure every weekend, it was so crowded and it was difficult to walk Muffin. Later that day we stopped at a local bakery and ordered a piece of Tiramissu. It was so yummy!!!
